Welcome to Healing Touch "A Space for Inner Peace & Relaxation", a place for healing, Reiki, massage and reflexology in Norfolk.

After years of working in beauty and alternative therapies we have decided to specialise in the holistic field of treatments, ranging from aromatherapy and massage to Reiki healing and Reflexology.

Our aim is to help people in Norfolk from all walks of life to find peace, relaxation, and rejuvenation on a mental, emotional and spiritual level in both our salon and daily living.

We believe that when a person feels calm and centered it has a knock on effect for the people around them.

Massage

All forms of massage are fantastic for mental and physical relaxation, poor blood circulation, softening the skin, bringing fresh nutrients to the skin, and muscles, joint mobility, helping to drain fluid retention and ease mental anxiety.

Touch is very important and we learn this as a child with the comfort we receive in our parents' arms.

Reiki Healing

Reiki is a Japanese word which means 'universal life force'. It is a non invasive, hands on treatment.

Reiki directly works on the wheels of energy known as chakras. Chakras sit on top of the glands within our physical body and connect to the energy field surrounding us; this is known as the aura.

The chakras have a life force flowing through them and are affected by the body and the energies of the word around it.

Once reiki reaches the physical body it is drawn like a magnet to the area where it is need the most and then flows throughout the rest of the body.

Reiki promotes well being, vitality, creativity, self awareness and focus. It dramatically reduces stress and is an excellent treatment to compliment all other therapies, for example massage and reflexology.

Hopi Ear Candles

These safe and effective ear candles have been derived from the system that the native Hopi American Indians used before meditation to cleanse the mind and head.

This treatment helps to remove ear wax and ease ear, nose and throat problems. The pressure point massage which is carries out at the end of the treatment will help to relieve any muscle tension in the face and head.

Indian Head Massage

Ayurveda is an ancient healing system going back 4,000 years. The ayurvedic view of health is to balance the three subtle forces of life:

Physical Body (Kapha) using heaviness, working with earth and water elements.
Emotions (Pitta) using heat, working with fire and water elements.
Spiritual well being (Vata) through dryness, working with air and the ether.

Indian Head Massage is traditionally used in India from birth to help create a bond, love and respect between child and adult family members.

It is also customary for bride and groom to receive a massage before getting married, to promote relaxation, stamina, psychic strength, health and fertility.

We have found Indian Head Massage to work very well for people with headaches/migraines, sinus problems, stress, shoulder and neck tension and depression. Why not combine your Indian Head Massage with a Reflexology session.

It is also a wonderful way to be introduced to receiving massage if the client is nervous.

Aromatherapy Massage

This massage uses a specific selection of essential oils to suit the individuals' needs. For the first 2 hours massage session a thorough consultation is carried out and oils for home care use are given to keep up the benefits of the massage treatment.

Aromatherapy is excellent for depression, muscular pain, digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, skin disorders and many more conditions.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapy which uses alternating pressure along the meridians of the foot and stimulates the 7,000 nerves which are linked to the organs, muscles and bones all over the body, balancing the systems of the body and promoting healing.

Reflexology works well for people who have IBS, poly cystic ovaries, arthritis, neuralgia, headaches, depression, menopause and many other conditions. Reflexology also compliments many other healing therapies, for example massage.

Crystal Healing

The earth is one big crystal/rock. It has an electro magnetic field which emits life force. Life is obtained from the solar system eg. sun and moon. Life force helps everything which lives in and on the earth by bringing balance and healing the aura around everything, including our physical bodies. Crystals act as the conductor to do this.

Crystals have electro magnetic fields and are made of a similar structure to ourselves. Because crystals obviously have no emotion, their vibrational energy remains consistent and can help to balance our own frequencies within and around the body.

Crystal healing is carried out with the client laying down and crystals being placed on and around the body. Crystal healing helps to relieve and soothe any physical problems and mental anxieties.

Priadara Facial Treatment and Massage

Priadara comes from an ancient language, "Pria" meaning loved one and "D'ara" meaning wisdom. Priadara skin care products contain two or more essential oils which have mutually enhancing effects and will work down into the circulation through cleansing and massage.
